Instructions for Downloading Desktop Backgrounds on PC
  1. Left-click on size link below photo.
  2. A new browser window will open with the image viewable at full size in the new window. This may take a while depending on the speed of your connection.
  3. Right-click on this image.
  4. Choose "Set as "Background" and then close the browser window.
Instructions for Downloading Desktop Backgrounds on Mac
  1. Click on size link below photo
  2. A new browser window will open with the image viewable at full size in the new window. This may take a while depending on the speed of your connection.
  3. Click and hold on this image. A menu will pop up – Mac/IE, choose "Download Image to Disk"; Mac/Netscape, "Save This Image..." You will then choose where to store the image and a file name.
  4. Go to Control Panels/Appearance. The "Appearance" panel will open.
  5. Choose the "Desktop" tab. Click twice on "Remove Picture"; it will change to "Place Picture" and a menu will pop up for locating the image. After choosing image, click "Open."
  6. Next is the "Position Automatically" pull-down; you can use it or one of the other options (Tile, Center, Scale or Fill Screen).
  7. Click "Set Desktop," and then close browser window with the image in it.
